Lombard, IL – The trade show industry recently reported their highest quarterly growth in eight years, which comes with little surprise. Chicago welcomes approximately three million visitors each year as attendees and exhibitors for various trade shows at McCormick place. Lombard-based TradeTec, a premier full-service exhibit house, is rising to meet the needs of this growing industry.
Laurie Young has joined TradeTec as Senior Exhibit Consultant, adding over 10 years of trade show industry expertise to their team.
As Senior Exhibit Consultant, Young’s primary role is to partner with clients and guide them through the exhibit planning process while focusing on their goals, budget, and timelines. This process can be complex, so many companies choose to outsource the work to industry experts like TradeTec who can simplify and deliver.
Young is a graduate of Middle Tennessee University, earning degrees in both Mass Communication and Political Science. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Her experience includes over 10 years with progressive roles in the trade show industry, including sales, planning, show services, operations, event marketing, and actual exhibiting.
“When companies approach TradeTec to design and coordinate their professional displays, key elements of what we offer are top-notch service and industry expertise,” said Troy Trice, President of TradeTec. “Laurie’s diverse experience in the trade show industry allows her to completely understand the challenges in front of our clients and coach them through the process of creating successful exhibits."
